OKAY IM BACK TO BLOG.

Shall summarise what i did in these few days.

• Shopped at Tampines Mall for shoes, books, stationeries, horror dvds, new things
• Worked and earned money
• Slacked
• Contacted a few girlfriends as promised
• Celebrated Mervin's birthday with people
• Shisha-ed
• Shopped at Bugis
• Worked and earned money again
• The rest i forgot

AND I WAS SO GLAD I WORKED YESTERDAY COS MY SIS AND I EARNED 50 BUCKS EACH IN LESS THAN 4 HOURS AINT THAT GREAT YAY IM SO PROUD WE SOLD 20 BOXES JUST IN ONE BLOCK SO LUCKY PLUS WE DIDNT FEEL TIRED AT ALL IN FACT IT WAS SUPER FUN COS WE KEPT TALKING IN SYNCHRONY MAKING OUR CUSTOMERS SMILE AND LAUGH AND CHAT WITH US TEEHEE. OF COURSE MY MOOD IMPROVED HOUR AFTER HOUR WE WENT FOR SUPPER WITH 6 PEOPLE AT THE MACS DOWNSTAIRS OUR HOUSE IN A GOOD MOOD AND WENT BACK HOME ALSO IN A GOOD MOOD COS OUR MOMMY DIDNT CALL US TO CHASE US HOME AT ALL YAY IMMA HAPPY GIRL. ^^v

Why is it 2009 that changed my life and turned my life into a miserable one?

I remember how i used to spend my childhood life. With my dad. Whole family.
- Him fetching us to the arcade every weekend to play at the arcade and changing money to tokens for us everytime we needed more, until we were tired of playing.
- Him bringing us to Sheng Siong Supermarket every two weekends to restock our bags of potato chips, chocolates, drinks etc.
- Him bringing us to Marina Bay etc to watch fireworks on every single festive occasion.
- Him giving us money every weekend night to buy a packet of large fries from Macs downstairs.
- Him buying things for us whenever we wanted as long as he could afford.
- Him thinking of more and more cupboards to design and build, to replace the old ones in our house every few months with bigger ones so that we could have more space to place our stuff in.
And, etc.
Just because of one incident, just because of our stubborn personalities, things have become like this. Once a loving family of four, now a either daughters-and-mother or father-and-mother thing. I have never imagined myself to lose the feeling of father's love, care and concern. He had doted so much on us, now we don't even talk to each other; every meal we eat together is in total silence. No way are we able to go back to the past, because things aint the same anymore. It's not like i start talking to him or he start talking to me and everything will be fine. No. Only awkwardness.


Every point i listed out as i typed just now, i shed a tear or two. No one knows how much i missed those times. Not even my parents, not even my sis. For there's no point telling people how much i missed the past.

Life at home is bad. Life in school will be worse next year. I dont know how im gonna face that somebody who will be in the same class as me for one whole year. After deciding not to go with her best friend from next year onwards, i dont know who to stick with anymore. I dont know whether to hate Bedokview or hate myself. Hate myself to have chosen the wrong school, hate myself to have chosen the wrong friends, or hate myself for whatever i had done? Things are 180degrees different between lower sec life and upper sec life. Enjoyed school life in sec1and2, now i dont. Was crazy and carefree in sec1and2, now im not. Had best friends in sec1and2, now i dont.

2009's ending in less than a month's time, and i aint expecting a better 2010. In fact, i wish i could just skip 2010 and move on to tertiary level. I cant stand secondary life anymore. In this year, i've lost so many cherished things. Was once so contented with life, a life so filled with love, care and concern. Now? Things have changed so much. I'm obviously no longer who i was two years ago. 2009 seemed so short, yet the most things happened in this year. The world is changing. with me.


After typing this whole post, i swear i can feel my eyes sore.

Went bedok inter to look for mommy and had lunch at astons. Grocery-shopped at Fairprice, headed home to put down the plastic bags and bused to meet Zijie and Weesiang at Peixuan's house. Loved the afternoon spent there that was contained with lots of laughter. :) Rushed home to get prepared to go out again for dinner with parents. Oh, and i got myself a new pair of slippers to replace the wornout one. Yayness. Say bye to that pair of high heels.

Went for icecream work today, partnered Waichong. Earned 40over bucks today :D Went bedok inter macs for supper with Wanxuan Yenyen Weechuan Patrick and Zijian, mom and dad came over to fetch my sis and i and tongpang-ed Yenyen. Reached home at 1plus. Very tired, short post today. NIGHTS!

SATURDAY, 28NOV:

ATTENDED MS SHARON KOH'S WEDDING AT THE CHURCH! She looked damn gorgeous and cute. HAHA. Below are some of the photos taken there, we took group photos with Ms Koh too but the photos are with Kaiwen. Lazy to elaborate also, overall had a fun time there. :D
Went macs with a few people and then trained to grandma's house after meeting up with mom and sis. Headed to Great World City with sis as usual to window-shop! Came across this cute guy working at the arcade and he offered us a soft toy from one of the machines. HAHAHA. We didnt take it out of greediness neither did we take it cause we liked it, instead we took it cause it was HIM who gave us. ;) Walked back to grandma's house before 7, had dinner, rummaged through their stacks of recent newspapers for classifieds and started looking for jobs. And we managed to find one after the third call. :D WEEE! How successful we are this year. Will start maybe next week.




SUNDAY, 29NOV:

Had our first try selling icecream. Bought dinner with sis, met everybody at 6pm and had a really loooong briefing with Darren cause it was our first time working with his company. Partnered with Wanxuan and Waichong and went really really REALLY well. :D We were all newcomers and we practically sold the most number of boxes! 20 boxes were sold and 2 were given to us freeeeeee. :D Were proud of ourselves man. Although we would earn lesser when three people worked together instead of three, we made great partners and each one of us had a part to play and contribute. BUT, it was also because of luck. Firstly, it was at Bedok which made it easy for us as we lived near there. Secondly, Bedok's a good selling area as people living in people are generally more generous (ERHEM). Thirdly, we didnt encounter any setbacks etc and when we were about to sell our last box of icecream to passersby, a family came up to us to offer to buy our last box. HOW LUCKY! Had loads of laughters and fun selling. Headed to macs with a group of people for supper and walked home at 1+am. :)




TUESDAY, 1DEC:




Outing to Bugis with Wanxuan Yenyen Eunice Clara Brandon Jiajun Guoxiang and Weechuan. Had lunch at kfc and trained to Bugis. Shopped for quite a few things as well as dad's birthday present. Headed to Bayshore to slack with Suvd and Royce at night. Bused home at 12am. :)




WEDNESDAY, 2DEC:

Went for icecream work. This time at Serangoon! Plus, not as much luck already. Met up with people at bedok inter and trained to Boon Keng. Had a bite at kfc and off to work. Sis and i partnered, earned more than that of two days ago though. Met a kind auntie who helped us buy, chatted with us and even offered us drinks as she knew that we had to keep talking and persuading customers. How kind! Tiring but still enjoyed working. :) After work, bused to 85 market to look for Brandon Jiajun and Guoxiang. Slacked, ate supper and reached home at 2am. Mom locked the gate so my sis and i headed back down to macs to slack. A while later mom came down and we quarreled in public. Headed back up at 3 and went to disturb Jiajun and Brandon through sms. Hahaha. Slept at 5plus.



THURSDAY, 3DEC:

Headed down to 79 with sis and found Yenyen Weechuan and Suvd there. Sis and i bused off to Chinatown to get our cards and sold them off at blocks around Bedok inter. Earnings not bad. Jiajun Brandon and Guoxiang came over on cab to tongpang us, then cabbed to Bayshore to slack with Suvd and people. Cabbed back home with Jiajun at 12plus. Thanks Jiajun :)
AND TAKE CARE IN HONGKONG JIAJUN! WILL MISS YOU DUDE :D

Have to constantly refer to the itinerary cause my memory aint good. The photos-uploading really tested my patience cause once i got frustrated, things became worse and POOF! DAY1, 12-13NOV:


Assured that everything was well taken care of at home and nothing was left unbrought before leaving for the airport with mom. Was so afraid that i would forget to bring anything, and upon reaching Terminal 3 i realised i really did -.- Nvm shall not talk about it. :) Bla bla bla and finally boarded the plane at 1am. Was all anxious about our seating positions. Everybody had their partners seated beside them except me, and i was telling Chinwen and Vereen 'I think the person sitting beside me is a stranger leh', then from behind appeared Ms Goh Lay Ching smiling and saying 'It's me'. HAHA! Damn funny. Had movie keeping me company for 15mins then i fell asleep with music blasting in my ears on the plane. Woke up and they were already serving breakfast. YUMYUM! Service on SQ was awesome, i wanted hot water and they assured that they attended to me.
Reached Nagoya International airport at 830am and then got onto our tour bus.


First stop was convenience store where lots of vending machines were located. COOL! All machines-operated, unlike our 7-eleven, cheers etc. Finally got to see Japan's cigarette-selling vending machines too. Experienced for the first time the cooling weather. Felt like free air-con!


Hopped back onto bus and reached Enakyo Service Area for lunch.

Could you bear to eat it!? Haha. How exquisite and appetising.


This time, the chilly wind made us shiver while eating. Kaiwen couldnt stand it and ate very little. Haha! How wasted.

Went to the toilet before heading back up to the bus. Look at the toilet:


CLEAN LIKE HEAVEN, MODERN LIKE HEAVEN! Check out the buttons. They had buttons for washing the butt and v*****, drying the butt, music to cover the sound of urine, heater for warming the seat so that our buttocks wont feel uncomfortable in the cold weather and etc etc.

After that, we were sent off to different homes in Takeshi Village. Chinwen, Kaiwen and i were sent to this cute family. Cute grandpa and grandma. :D Only the grandpa came out to fetch us.


When we first went in, we found out a lot about the Japanese culture. They wiped the wheels of our luggages before the luggages were carried into their homes as the Japanese thought their houses should not be dirtied in any way. Our feet cannot touch the ground outside of the house and our shoes cannot touch the ground inside the house. How to take off our shoes then? Sounds complicated right. Haha. We took quite some time to learn how to take off our shoes in the proper way. They showed us around their house and we further found out that we had to put on different pairs of slippers in different rooms. Thought it was troublesome at the beginning but later got used to it. :) After we settled down, they kept serving us fruits and we kept eating. Haha. The fruits there were delicious man! Really really sweet, especially the apples. Chinwen, Kaiwen and i had a hard time communicating with the two Japanese hosts. We exhausted our command of Japanese words and even the entire booklet of Japanese words given by the tour guide! The hosts knew too little english and they had to constantly use their translator booklet just to tell us one word. ): We felt so bad having to make them flip their translator book every few minutes.


Communication hence was very little because even when we each had so many questions in our minds, we didnt know how to express in each other's language.
In that case, the three of us decided to help out with whatever they were doing instead of talking. We helped the grandpa peel and pound nuts and make rice balls. :D Very fun! Enjoyed the process of preparing food altogether. This was when the tour guides and teachers came in to check out how we were progressing. PHEW! Lucky they didnt arrive while we were watching tv and not communicating with one another. Haha :P The tour guides and teachers even said we looked like one family while pounding nuts together. :D The grandpa and the three granddaughters. Hahaha. Too bad the rest of the photos are with them. ):


Had dinner together after that, along with the rice balls we'd made! First meal together, enjoyed it. :)

9pm, sleeping time! Was supposed to shower and sleep but we spent so much time slacking in our bedroom that we only started showering at 11pm. Felt really bad having to keep them awake upon realising they wouldnt sleep till our lights were out. Snacked before tucking ourselves into bed too. Enjoyed the night together. :)

DAY2, 14NOV:

Woke up 30mins late, all three of us slept like pig! Had a really heavy breakfast as the grandma prepared a lot a lot of food specially for us. They gave us a handful of Japanese sweets and a big big red juicy apple to each of us as a farewell gift. :D Bid farewell to the grandma first as she had to leave earlier and couldnt send us off. ): Took pics with the grandpa before heading back up onto the bus. Tried hard to use up all our Japanese farewell sentences. Haha! As it was raining, the rain made our luggages difficult to be dragged along the rocky trail leading from their house to the road. Hence, the grandpa went to get a wheelbarrow-like-thingy to place our luggages on so that he could carry them along the trail out to where we were supposed to wait for the arrival of the bus. How sweet! We felt so bad for making an old man carry our luggages for us. ):


Our homestay was the furthest from everyone's else so we were the last three to be fetched by the bus. So moved on to Nagato farm! Had our lunch there.


Looks simple right? But the fried potatoes were DAMN delicious! The rest of them didnt finish cause they were too full after their heavy breakfast but i still ate up everything! :D

After our lunch, went out of the dining place and into the open space full of nice sceneries. Went to take pictures there.


Moved on to butter and ice-cream making experience!

Saw this cute lil boy on the way xD He looked into my camera! How cute.


BUTTER! Made by shaking natural milk in a bottle as fast/vigorously as we could for 10mins. Didnt know butter's so easily produced. Everybody was shaking their bottles till 'miracle' happened and butter appeared in the bottle. Tiring but fun. :)

And then proceeded to ice-cream making.

Were provided with ingredients like full-cream milk, sugar etc and were supposed to mix everything in the ice-cream mixer and stir non-stop. Yet again very easy but tiring. DELICIOUS! But was damn full after eating so much. Angelina and i shared the whole tin of ice-cream, and we just had our lunch for goodness' sake! After that, we went on to visit the farm animals wooo :D


Look at this particularly unfriendly cow who constantly gave us stares.


It showed its sexy butt to us and YES, it was digging its nose with its tongue. Somemore right in front of us!! What a gross and unrefined cow. -shakes head- We had a hilarious time standing in its face watching it do silly acts. Haha. I have a video of it digging its nose too, but not gonna upload.
Moved on to the horses. They were much friendlier, the guys kept feeding them grasses plucked from the grassy ground.



Somehow their tails look rebonded. I remember someone saying the tails look like my hair. To think i laughed. xD
Headed to some musical souvenir shop next as well as a shop selling Japanese cuisine. We each had a coupon for free miso soup. YUM!


Why are Japanese babies all so cute ):


Bus-ed to depart for Kurumayama for our lodgestay. Chinwen, Kaiwen, Yanin, Vereen, Angelina and i stayed in one lodge. I LOVE THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE AND THEIR CAT, PUMA!!! They're an awesome family of three. :)
We had to walk quite a distance before reaching their lodge. And we were all shivering cause of the freaking cold weather! After being allocated our rooms and settling down our luggages, the husband brought us around his huge lodge and explained what the things he had built were for. Oh fyi, everything in the lodge and around were all hbuilt by him! Took loads of photos but aint gonna upload them all. There's too much of them. Hehe. Went inside and he showed us around the washrooms etc too.




After all the walking was DINNER! We had loads and loads of laughter sitting down altogether at the dining table, eating and chatting. Reason being the husband was chatty and knew only basic english. (But i was glad cause his command of english language was alot better than the two hosts at the homestay!) He kept trying hard to ask us questions just to keep the conversation going, and the way he asked was really funny. He spent more time talking than eating, we too spent alot of time laughing. Enjoyed it. :)


Our dinner, OKONOMIYAKI, the dish i've been watching on tv all along and finally got to taste it. Who's mouth is watering? IT.WAS.UNDESCRIBABLY.DELICIOUS. :D :D



The wife made her sit back down on her chair, telling her that she would give her food later on. Poor thing. ):


There, the wife finally fed her rice. Look how loving she is even when she was feeding her. :)

Our desserts! :D Cookies, chocolate cake and peach sorbet. I couldnt bear to finish them up.




DAY3, 15NOV:

Woke up for breakfast the next morning.


Traveled to the assembly place and i thought i couldnt bear to leave them. ): The owners and the six of us couldnt stop waving to each other while we were on the bus. How heartening! They asked us for our school's name and promised to visit us next year in our school. I WAS SO GLAD and am anticipating their visit. :D


Bus-ed off to Yamabiko skate no mori. The Japanese students gave us a warm welcome before we entered the ice-skating rink. My group only consisted of me and Hazirah and there were three Japanese girls. Then Hazirah couldnt play cause she sprained her ankle. SO, my group's girls were all crowding around me while i was putting on the iceskates, headgear and so on, trying to help me cause their gears were a little different from our country. Felt so honoured. HAHA. Didnt dare to enter the skating rink at first for the fact that i cant skate and i suck at balancing. But two of the girls held on to each of my hands and the other one accompanied while they led me. There was once when they tried to increase their speed and i was literally dragged along the ice and everybody thought i could skate so fast HAHAHAHA xD And when their speed reached the maximum i fell. :X HEHE! Very exhilarating, i have to admit. There was the relay after that and i was so scared cause there wont be anyone to hold on to when i needed support. It turned out fine cause i skated really slowly but i felt bad dragging down the whole team. ): Was really grateful to the three kind girls who taught me how to skate and stayed by my side all the time to give me constant support and encouragement. :)


Next up, BBQ FOR LUNCH!
Walked quite a distance from the skating rink to the bbq area. Left my group and went over to the non-beef bqq pit. ): Sad that i couldnt eat with them and thought we had one less variety of food to bbq. But later found out that non-beef people had a huge range of seafood while the beef people dont! :D Especially prawnnnnss hehehe. We barbequed in the cold weather which was damn shiok. First time barbequing without having to withstand the heat coming out from the bbq pit. :D


Bus-ed to Irufu drawing museum. Was getting so fatigue that i didnt bother to pay attention to the Japanese explainer and the oh-so-GOOOOOD-in-english translator. -.- Wasnt at all interested in the drawings exhibited there too. Then finally we went off for our amazing race / orienteering after a short debrief. We were given a map full of pictures and were supposed to locate them and take group photos with the places. Didnt really enjoy it too. Weien, Hazirah and the Japanese boy in our group were so good at orienteering that they walked so fast, so much so that the three girls and i had difficulties catching up. I almost went breathless after an hour. So it was just take-pictures-and-go sorta thing. They only focused on leading us, and we only tagged behind. Although we four girls too chatted and even took pictures together on the way. Haha. But we had to run after that cause those people in front literally ran, for your info. And obviously, we were the first group to reach and were the only group to find all the checkpoints. Thanks to the pro people. Haha. As we still had a lot of time before the other groups return, we went to the nearby supermarket to purchase drinks.


After prize-giving, we bused to Okaya Yamabiko for our cottage stay. Again Chinwen, Kaiwen and i in one cottage. Loved it man, felt like our own house. :D


Left our luggages there and went off to a nearby restaurant for dinner.


Practised our Nobody dance and headed off to our respective cottages. Snacked then slept. :D


DAY4, 16NOV:

Realised that we had woken up late, AGAIN. Rushed to change into our uniform, rushed off to the same Kate restaurant for buffet breakfast, rushed through our breakfast and off to Okaya Hokubu Junior High School!!


Look at how warmly the Japanese students and teachers had welcomed us. :D


They even wrote the lunch menu for that day in three different languages, Japanese English and Chinese! How thoughtful.


Didnt take any photo for the rest of the day as we were not supposed to use camera/phone in their school compound. What a strict school rule ): So didnt bring along my camera. Took some photos from the teachers instead. :)
Arrived and had to change into a new pair of shoes before entering their school compound. Reason being Japanese are particular about cleanliness.


Watched a Guzheng performance by some of the Japanese students and proceeded to the meeting room whereby their teacher-in-charge explained that day's schedule to us. Headed to the school hall for welcome ceremony, then their drum performance, then singing of school songs, and then our performance!!! Everybody said we did a great job in our Nobody dance WOOOO. :) Proceeded to their classrooms for lessons next. I was assigned to this buddy named.. I FORGOT HOLY SHIT. SORRY DEAREST BUDDY. :X Our batch had PE and Social Studies periods with them, and they really specially prepared the lessons for us. For PE, we learnt KENDO! A modern Japanese martial arts / swordsmanship. And during SS, they talked about Singapore which was quite an eye-opener for them i guess. The lesson was kinda hilarious with a joker in the class. :) As i was sitting at the back, there was this girl who kept turning around every few minutes to look and smile at me. Super AWKWARD! Was thinking if she was being over-friendly. LOL. Lucky i was wearing my mask so i didnt have to really smile back. HAHA. Later found out that she's called Minami who's a really really nice and pretty girl. :D She was also wearing her mask at first fyi. Had lunch as a class in their classroom where they brought all the food in. Damn nice. They even provided us with a napkin to place our plates and drinks on. After lunch was spring cleaning. Eh no, daily cleaning. The Japanese cleaned their whole school other than classrooms every single day! Not like us, twice a year. Erhem. The most common thing they do is not wiping the tables, instead it's wiping the floor with a cloth. But we only had to clean for like, half an hour? Since there's lesser job to do when the school's being cleaned everyday. Moving on, we headed to the hall and played this game called dodgeball. At first i thought the game was played the same way as how we play in Singapore. BUT HELL NO. It's actually a rough game. It goes like this:
Guys VS girls. The guys team was the attacker team, so they had to kinda attack the girls with the ball(fyi, it aint softball. A hard one). From one end to the other they would throw the ball horizontally with as much force as they can and try to hit the girls. The girls have to either dodge or catch the ball. If the ball hits a girl, she would be out. Yea shucks, im afraid of speedoballs. SCARY! Played for a while then didnt play already. Hehe. But i bonded with more girls. :D Cause i was like not really enthu in the game, so some girls came over to accompany me. After the game, we were supposed to go and the girls were like reluctant to bid farewell to me. So i asked 'Email?', and they went super hyper! Haha. Really very cute. Went up to the meeting room to get pen and paper and exchange emails with one another. Weeeee. Was really glad myself too. :) Miss them so much, am sad that i didnt get to take pictures with them. ): Hoping that our school would organise an immersion programme with the same batch of Japanese students in Bedokview. Please please please! I especially wanna see those two pretty ones again. Hehe.

Assembled and had our Japanese drum lesson led by a Japanese instructor! :D Was so so SOOOO happy to be able to hold on to the drum sticks after like, three years? The last time i played drums was in Primary6 sia. Enjoyed the lessons, had so much fun following the beats of the instructor. There was once when the beats became complicated and i figured out for super long before i finally got it. He even praised me and said i did well cause i was the only one who played correctly and consistently. HEHEHE :D


Headed back to the PVA meeting room and took photos with our buddies.

Although she's kinda quiet and i didnt really talk much to her, i was glad to have her as my buddy as she guided me alot. Her kindness and helpfulness is much appreciated by me. :)

I also received a card from a Japanese student given by my previous buddies!!! They had printed out our group photo and even wrote a letter behind. How sweeet. I miss them. ):




Bus-ed to our first hotel.

After showering, we had to go to some room to have our kimonos worn before we could eat. That's their tradition. And we had to put on the kimonos only after our bodies were cleaned, thats the reason we rushed to shower. So while i was waiting for my turn to be put on by the professionals there, i was like.. They tied something around the waist which made us difficult to breathe cause it.was.FREAKING.tight.







The food placed on the table was only half-served cause there were alot more coming up.

Took quite some time to sit down cause of the kimonos. Not easy! We crossed legs instead of kneeling down like the Japanese. xD Was feeling kinda awful with the tight-waist kimono but as i looked at the food.. Hehe. Felt much better. :P There were lots of prawns, and most importantly crabs!!! :D :D :D Of course with salmon, sashimi and etc. There was a pot with fire underneath, so i put the sashimi and raw meat into the pot since i cant take raw food. How nice. :D The rest of them was already screaming in pain before eating and said they were full. But i just kept silent cause i didnt feel the same way as them. Instead, i was glad as more and more food came up! After eating finish my share, i even asked for more crab from the others. HEHEHE. Helped them to finish, dont waste good food. :D Ate a lot of fruits too, cause i love Japanese grapes!! Finished up everybody's grapes. :D Since young i've been yearning to have more of Japanese grapes cause they're different from those from other countries. Those of you who've never tried Japanese grapes before, grab them whenever you see them sold at supermarkets. You'll never regret buying. :)


Eating while having karaoke. :D The guys took turns to go up and sing while entertaining the rest of us. Haha! All of us enjoyed. :)


After the long dinner, went back to the room to have our kimonos taken off and returned. Felt like my waist had shrunk after untying the ribbon. DAMN! Felt so relaxed after that. :)


Headed back to our respective rooms, found out that our room had been rearranged and mattresses had been laid out for us. How nice! Kaiwen slept immediately cause she was worn out after wearing the kimono while Chinwen and i snacked while watching tv. :D Guess what after i was done snacking? I took out my reflection book, intending to finish up my reflections for that day to my sleeping place and lied down while writing. Then i fell asleep unknowingly. Woke up in the middle of the night to realise i had slept in the opposite direction from the rest! Wtf. Laughed at myself while changing position. HAHA.


DAY5, 17NOV:

Woke up and went to a chinese restaurant for buffet breakfast.


Realised that i had taken too little food and went to get more food and porridge as well. Thought the porridge didnt taste quite nice. Still preferred rice.

Ate halfway and one of the Japanese tour guides walked past and pointed outside, saying 'Snow, snow'. Chinwen Kaiwen and i looked out and were like, 'It's rain what -.-'. So i thought i heard wrongly. After a few minutes i looked out again and thought the rain didnt look like rain. So i went up and looked closer. OMG. It's snow!! Then i told the rest, they looked for a few minutes and agreed with me! Mr Danny then told all of us that the snow wouldnt last for long and if we wanted to experience it we had to eat faster. All of us got excited and gobbled down our food, hurrying down to the ground floor and went into the snow!!! :D

As you can see, the group got bigger and bigger as more people went down. Haha.


Went to the toilet and walked around before leaving for the next destination.
Look at the number of toilet cubicles. Which one to choose? There isnt a need cause all of them are equally clean. :)



Reached the Bosaikan Disaster Experience Tour!
Learnt how hurricane and earthquake felt like and also what to do when fire and smoke occurs.








LUNCHTIME!


YUMMY YUMMY, prawn again :D :D :D This was the day when everybody found out that i eat a lot, all thanks to MR DANNY. ROAR. I was only coping fruits from others then Mr Danny announced to everyone 'Anyone who cannot finish their food can pass to Wanying'. WTF! Damn bad. But funny. HAHA.

Departed to Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology by bus.

The Toyota partner robot which performs with the trumpet every fifteen minutes. Resembles human, waves hand after performing etc.




Was given free time to walk around to view the exhibits of toyota cars and was even allowed to touch and sit inside the cars! Even when we are.. teenagers. Unlike Singapore eh, so stingy.


Saw many other exhibits and went to their souvenir shop. Too many photos but not very interesting so shall save my time uploading. :)


Bused to Nagoya Crown hotel.



Walked to a chinese restuarant for dinner. Dishes served werent many, or maybe there were many but some didnt appeal to us. But the dinner turned out great cause we sucked in too much laughing gas in the restaurant that we could stop laughing. HAHA. Couldnt forget high-fiving with Yanin umpteen times cause our tastebuds are so alike. :) And Angelina was constantly trying to be the odd-one-out in food.



For our night activity, Mr Danny led us around the city, into the supermarket and shopping centre. And their train stations are located across the whole stretch of shopping centres. Damn big! Couldnt see the ending. We stopped at some shops selling delicacies and were given time to buy and eat whatever we wanted. Mr Danny treated the six of us this!
Which was already eaten halfway. Haha. Didnt expect him to treat us cause it's expensive. But it's really nice! He treated us to let us know how delicious it was. :)





Was again given some time to shop at some electronics departmental store. Yet another memorable place cause had too much laughters and even saw two cute Japanese guys. HAHA :D Think i laughed the most and loudest along with Chinwen and Kaiwen. Haha. Typical Singaporeans going crazy in public, so unlike refined Japanese.



Walked and walked and reached this arcade which Mr Danny called the teenage-hangout-place. Didnt play at all, watched the guys play for a while and we headed to take neoprints together! In Japan which made it coooool. :)


Headed back to hotel room. The four of them came into Kaiwen and my room to snack :D Couldnt survive without snacking before i slept. Hehe. Too hungry.


DAY6, 18NOV:

Breakfast-ed at the hotel. Buffet again! Yum yum.



Headed to the wet market! Thought it looked kinda similar to Singapore's.



Bused to Atsuta Jingu Shrine.



Headed to a shopping mall, AEON! Yes it sounds like Singapore's ION, cause ION was created by Japan.


Went up to the top floor first and guess what was located there. A PET SHOP AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Anybody going to pet shop with me would get ready to hear me squeak and scream. Hahaha. And so i did. PLEASE, ALL THE DOGS AND ONE PATHETIC CAT WERE DAMN KAWAIIIIII. The shop staff even took out some dogs and allowed us to touch, carry and even take photos with them!!! Another thing different from Singapore, which doesnt even allow us to take photographs OF them. Damn.


I was constantly holding on to the black one only cause it was the dog that i requested for the staff to take out. xD Loved it the most! So cute.
Then when we were about to leave, the kind and generous staff gave us a 2010 calender. Loved her so much la! Haha. Was so elated to receive that calendar, the pictures in it are so cute. :D


After spending so much time at the pet shop, we went down to continue with our shopping. Didnt buy anything but enjoyed shopping there. :)

Lunched at another restaurant.


Departed to Tokyu Hands, another shopping mall! Loved practically all the things there, so nice. But expensive. Purchased quite a few gifts.



NAGOYA CASTLE. Didnt really enjoy going there, nothing much interested me. Mood was kinda spoilt by something too but became okay upon leaving.



Look at this cute lil girl. She was so engrossed in drawing a dragon statue that she ignored everybody that was crowding round her. Or maybe she was acting coooool. Hahahaha. So bad. And look at her drawing. So artistic for a girl at such a young age!



OSU! Shopped there too. Was initially our last shopping area, so rushed to shop for gifts.



Buffet-cum-bbq for dinner!

Same creepy things about food happened between me and Yanin. Hahaha.

Headed back to Tokyu Hands after dinner as requested by some of us because the Osu wasnt really a fantastic place to shop for gifts. However, we had to cut short our dinnertime. The guys didnt agree to it initially but they did eventually. :) Was so grateful to Mr Danny especially for trying his best to fulfil our request! Shopped like crazy there, went ahead to buy whatever we wanted regardless of the price in case we regretted. :)

Mr Danny then brought us to the Japanese train station called the subway! Had to purchase a ridiculously expensive train ticket which cost 300yen (S$4.50) just to travel two stations. So singaporeans, stop complaining and groaning over Singapore's cheap transportation fares! Also found out that the place where we slot in the tickets didnt have doors. They believe that the Japanese are honest enough to buy a ticket each and not try to escape paying by going through with another person. Erhem to Singaporeans.



This time checked in to hotel at a very late hour. We went to the airport hotel for convenience as we had to leave early next morning. Had a loooong debrief, and felt kinda sad as time had passed by so fast without realisation. Went back to hotel, showered and snacked before lights out.



DAY7, 19NOV:

LAST DAY. Had breakfast at the lobby before collecting our luggages from our hotel rooms and assembling back to get ready for check-out.


Walked to Nagoya International Airport and had a short shop in the souvenir shops. Boarded the plane and didnt intend to sleep cause it was morning. But i still slept! Wth. Too tired. Didnt even realise the steward/stewardess had given us the headset and drink. Woke up half an hour later and watched two movies at one go. Watched The Hangover and then The Ugly Truth. Turned out that The Ugly Truth's nicer! In fact, it's damn nice i love the movie so much. Had about two more hours before landing but was tired of watching movies so turned to games. Played until i got headache sia la. So ended up sleeping again for a while. Hahaha. Ms Goh was beside me playing the same game during the whole flight! Pei fu her.


Wished i could stay at Japan longer, or even forever. I MISS JAPAN! As well as all my fellow UG friends. Really enjoyed the trip alot. ♥
